Things To Do
Soliman Bay
The Pristine waters of Soliman Bay, in the heart of the Mayan Riviera, provides fabulous snorkeling opportunities for all ages and levels of experience. Protected by the second largest reef in the world, the waters are calm and relatively shallow, making viewing easy and fun. A wide variety of corals and sea life grace these waters with their bright colors and textures. Swimming out to the reef is a great workout, or if you prefer you can take the kayak, tie off to a bouy, and enter the grand elk and staghorn corals.
Book your stay at our casitas, villa and studios in soliman bay between akumal and tanka tres properties for rent. This is a truly magnificent experience, where you become part of an old and sacred world, one so exquisite in it's connectedness that we can't help but be gifted by it's incredible beauty. Closer in, and past the sea grass, (a very important part of the ecosystem) are many a little oasis of brain and other corals, perfect for kids or those who prefer to stay closer to land.

Nah Uxibal is situated in the Yucatan Peninsula, more specifically in QUINTANA ROO where the biggest underwater caves of the world are located.
The Yucatan Peninsula was formed in the Cenozoic era approximately 65.000.000 years ago. The ground of Yucatan was a chorale reef, and when the level of the water went receded the peninsula emerged composed in its majority of rock formed by the skeletons of the animals that formed this reef. Due to the size of the Yucatan Peninsula there is a infinity of places where to be able to dive in caves. Presently there have been documented circa 3500 cenotes in the area, but here, we all know that that number just represents a small amount of real cenotes in the area.
